El Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe (Center of Advanced Studies for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean) is a institute built for studies in arts and philosophy. 

It was incorporated on February 28, 1968 by Pablo Casals, Luis Muñoz Marín, Roberto Busó Carrasquillo, and Jaime Benítez and organized on 1976 by a request made by Ricardo Alegría, to transform the center into a institute for advanced students.

The academic programs offered in the Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe, are designed for people that love history, literature, archeology and the culture of Puerto Rico and the region of the Caribbean.
